Manufacturing Ability
While the front office keeps pace with new developments in materials, formulas and processes, our manufacturing staff keeps up by operating the most contemporary mixing and manufacturing equipment available.
Rubber manufacturing begins with a computer controlled internal batch mixer. Real time monitored process control has created improved mixing capacity and our fully equipped laboratory provides full physical properties for each mixed batch of rubber.
For polyurethane production, we operate four meter mixing machines as well as centrifugal mixers and conventional mixing equipment. Additionally we operate high pressure RIM equipment for making flexible urethane foam. This versatility enables us to cast or compression mold a variety of products. We have produced urethane parts weighing less than one ounce up to more than 1000 pounds.
To meet the demand for engineered urethane and rubber compounds, Ro-Lab American has the ability to mold conventional plastics, thermoplastic elastomers (TPE), Thermoplastic urethanes (TPU), as well as thermoset elastomers (TSE)
In additional to our primary molding, casting and extruding equipment, we have a wide variety of rubber mills, calenders, ovens, autoclaves, hose building equipment, grinders and presses with capacity up to 2000 tons. Ro-Lab American Rubber Co. has the ability to create application specific compounds, and the equipment necessary to make our customers’ diverse projects a reality.
