ABRASION RESISTANT LINERS
Ro-Lab American Rubber Company
(RLA) offers a variety of liner products and wear bars for use in the
mining industry. Our abrasion resistant liners come in either stock sizes
or can be customized to fit unusual applications. All of our liners can be
equipped with a fastening system as required by the customer.
RLA RUBBER LINING
RLA rubber lining can be produced in any size or shape required by
our customer. It is available in any of our standard rubbers or urethanes,
or our laboratory can develop a custom formula to meet a customer's
specialized need. Any liner can be developed to function with any of RLA's
Standard Fastening Systems or we can create a Custom Fastening System.
RLA CERCAP LINING
(Ceramic-Inserted Rubber)
Ceramic-inserted linings are
also available in any size. Specially prepared ceramic inserts are
vulcanized into this lining to greatly enhance wear resistance in the right
application. The ceramic inserts remain intact as the liner wears. Ceramic
balls are only used when specifically requested by the client.
RLA RUBBER BARS
Ro-Lab American rubber bars
are available in stock sizes of
4" X 2", 4" X 4", and 5" X 5". They are
available in standard lengths up to 48 inches with additional lengths
available up to 54 inches.
RLA BLOCK LINING
Block lining is produced in
individual segments so it is not necessary to buy more than is needed for a
particular installation. Individual segments can be changed out so liners
that show little wear do not have to be sacrificed to repair an area of
high wear. The block angle can be changed during the manufacturing process
by 15 degree increments to optimize the angles of impingement for maximum
liner life. These liners have a "T" bolt attaching system or they
can be provide with drilled backing or with a solid steel back with studs welded
on. Strategically place block lining can reduce wear and improve lining
life in chutes rock boxes, transfer points and other areas of falling
impact.
RLA POLYURETHANE LINERS
Ro-Lab American's
polyurethane liners are also available in any size or shape. They are also
available with ceramic inserts and can function with any of our standard
fastening systems. In the right application, polyurethane liners will
out-wear comparable rubber liners. It is often possible to substitute a
thinner polyurethane liner in place of a thicker rubber liner without
sacrificing wear.
RLA TOUGH BACK
This is an all rubber
flexible liner with a high tensile synthetic fabric backing. The fabric
backing provides a holding surface for bolts and washers and minimizes
stretching when used in inclined chutes. Tough Back can also be hung to
provide a baffling effect to divert the flow of materials.
RLA METAL BACK
Metal Back is an all rubber
lining press vulcanized to a thin metal backing. It is available in 4 foot
X 8 foot dimensions, and in a variety of rubber thicknesses. This liner is
normally sold as stock material for field cutting by the customer.
